Winter Footcare Tips To Remember
With autumn ending in Adelaide and the arrival of winter upon us, it’s important we all remember to keep the body moving at every opportunity. The old saying, “If You Don’t Use It, You Lose It” definitely applies to muscles along with the foot and leg joints. When bones and joints aren’t utilised, joint stiffness tends to follow. Similarly, inactive muscles can lead to weakness and wasting.
This is why we encourage any activity involving movement of the feet and legs. It helps all of us to improve mobility, increase performance and maintain a healthier, happier body enabling us to do the things that really matter.

Relocation to our new premises occurred on 22nd April, 2022. There were a few COVID related delays with the preparation of our new premises but we’re happy to say we’ve finally settled into our new premises. Our new home is at 31 Hackney Road, Hackney. It’s Been 3 Years Now
It was just over 3 years ago when we purchased Posture Podiatry from Daniel Gibbs. Time flies when you’re having fun and a lot has happened since we arrived in May 2019. Hopefully, the biggest of all the COVID challenges are behind us and we can all move forward a little wiser for the experience. We’ll continue to do our very best to serve with pride and passion and carry on the good name that Daniel started back in 2009.
Tess Carey is now Tess Clisby
Tess has also had a busy few months organising a wedding with her partner (and now husband), Daniel Clisby. Tess and Daniel announced their engagement in October last year and set about planning for their recent wedding. There were some interesting challenges along the way but all eventually turned out well on the big day with Daniel and Tess tying the knot on 7th May, 2022. Congratulations Tess!

Winter often means we’re indoors more and less active than the warmer months. This can give rise to poor circulation and lead to problems exacerbated by inactivity. Common complaints and concerns over winter include chillblains, choosing the right socks, heel pain and Diabetic footcare, management and exercise.
