Tom Kolesnik

Podiatrist

B.Pod, Member of the Australian Podiatry Association

Tom Kolesnik is an experienced Adelaide Podiatrist with a background in sports including football and running. Tom has a special interest in postural assessment, gait analysis, functional biomechanics and ultimately enjoys helping people of all ages to move well and feel great.

He enjoys working with people who have foot problems, leg pain and postural complaints that are preventing them from achieving a specific goal, and will stop at nothing until that goal is reached.

His tenacity comes from his own personal journey, which has seen him conquer marathons in Paris, Amsterdam and Athens, and also leading his London AFL footy team to premiership glory while on a two year period of work in the UK.

Tom is a believer in the power of thorough assessment and hands on treatment, and uses manual therapy techniques including foot mobilisation, dry needling, muscle strengthening along with various other treatment modalities to help the body heal itself for effective pain relief.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his 3 young girls, watching sport, in particular AFL and cricket and exercising outdoors.

Tessa Coleman

Podiatrist

B.Pod, Member of the Australian Podiatry Association

Tessa is an Adelaide Podiatrist who joined Posture Podiatry in January 2023. Tessa has a background in athletics and cross country running.

Tessa enjoys working with people of all ages who suffer from foot pain, heel pain and lower limb complaints. From her own experience of foot injuries, Tessa knows all too well the importance of early intervention and treatment.

Tessa has seen a podiatrist since she was 18 months old to treat her in-toeing gait and knocked knees. This treatment ultimately helped to prevent the need for more complicated treatment measures and, fortunately, corrective surgery was not required. Along with her involvement in state athletics and cross country running, this personal experience is what drew Tessa towards the podiatry profession.

How Can Tessa Coleman Help?..

Tessa enjoys all aspects of podiatry from general foot care & nail management, diabetic foot care and assessment, exercise prescription, orthotic therapy and, most importantly, helping people to achieve pain free mobility. Tessa has a particular interest in biomechanics and working with children and loves to see people achieve and enjoy an enhanced quality of life through better movement.

In her spare time, Tessa enjoys going for hikes, running, playing netball and spending time with friends and family.

To make an appointment with Tessa, call 8362 5900 or BOOK ONLINE HERE.

Gavin Daly

Podiatrist

Dip. App. Sc. Pod, Member of the Australian Podiatry Association.

Gavin Daly is an Adelaide Podiatrist who graduated from the University of South Australia in 1991.

Gavin originally commenced practice in South Australia with The Adelaide Sports Sciences Clinic and David Gilbert in 1991. Between 1991 and 1993 Gavin also worked with other South Australian podiatrists including Kaye Halliday and Lyn Keynes. During this time Gavin also provided honorary podiatry advice and services to the Woodville West Torrens Football Club.

In 1993, Gavin commenced private practice in Modbury, South Australia which he privately owned and operated between 1993-1996. Gavin also operated an orthotic laboratory between 1993-1996 in partnership with Kaye Halliday.

In 1996 Adelaide Podiatry Group was founded by Gavin and three other podiatrists – Spiro Vithoulkas, Sean Murphy and Brenton Bowen. Gavin’s role during this partnership included developing and managing South Australia’s first computer aided design and manufacturing (CADCAM) orthotic system, training orthotic laboratory technicians and developing laboratory systems. This role continued until 1998 when the laboratory was then taken over by Tony Dwyer of CAD CAM Orthotics in South Australia.

Gavin also provided honorary podiatry services to the Adelaide Ravens Netball Club between 1998-1999 alongside coach Pat Mickan.

Podiatry Care was established at Ashford Injury Services with partner Spiro Vithoulkas in January 2000 in conjunction with Orthopaedics SA and Northcare Physiotherapy. Podiatry Care was the first podiatry group in SA to:

  1. Introduce 3D Laser scanning and 3D CAD CAM orthotics to South Australia.
  2. Receive ATRAD accreditation in ESWT application.
  3. Introduce fungal nail laser treatment.
  4. Design and develop a UNIQUE condition specific heel pain treatment program for both adults and children.

Podiatry Care continued servicing clients under the Podiatry Care banner until it was acquired by My FootDr Group (Healthia ASX:HLA) in March 2017.  Podiatry Care branches at Modbury, Christies Beach, Moana, Unley and McLaren Vale were acquired by My FootDr while Kaye Halliday retained ownership of Podiatry Care in Gawler.

The name may have changed but many of the faces remained the same. Gavin continued to work for My FootDr both as a Podiatrist and then later as State Manager of the eight South Australian My FootDr podiatry clinics until June 2018.

In July 2018, Gavin decided it was time to satisfy some personal goals in the area of travel and further education. With a passion for providing first class service, patient education and communication, Gavin was presented with an opportunity to enter private practice again in a practice management, marketing and mentoring role at Posture Podiatry in partnership with Podiatrist, Tom Kolesnik.

As a Podiatrist, Gavin had a special interest in heel pain treatment, AFL sports injuries, children’s foot problems, postural complaints and growing pains in children. Gavin’s primary role now involves client communications, digital marketing, content creation, practice management and mentoring Posture Podiatry’s Adelaide Podiatrists.

Gavin will still consult with clients in collaboration with Podiatrists, Tessa Coleman, Will Duncan, Tom Kolesnik and Tess Clisby, whenever a second opinion is required or requested. Appointment bookings with Gavin can only be made via telephone.

Gavin is currently a member of the Australian Podiatry Association and registered with the Podiatry Board of Australia.
