Posture Podiatry Staff Update
We were lucky enough to catch up with Tess Clisby and baby Zara in recent days. We’re happy to report that Tess still plans to return to work in late July/August for two days a week on Mondays and Wednesdays to begin with. Here’s the latest snap of Mum with Zara:
Both Tess and baby Zara are looking very well. We look forward to Tess returning very soon.
We still have Tessa Coleman, Will Duncan and Tom Kolesnik available for consultation and plan to increase our consulting hours once Tess Clisby returns from maternity leave.
4 years already? Wow, that went quickly!
The end of May 2023 marks four years of Posture Podiatry ownership. Posture Podiatry initially started in January 2009 and changed ownership in May/June 2019. The last four years have been interesting to say the least.
Time flies when you’re having fun and what a roller coaster ride it’s been. It started out very exciting in June 2019 where we got off to a flying start. Tess Clisby (formerly Tess Carey) joined us in October 2019 and things really began to ramp up towards the end of 2019. We had a brief break over Christmas and returned all refreshed in January 2020 and then along came the pandemic in March 2020. Well we all know what happened there.
It was Napoleon Hill that said: “Strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle.”
The pandemic challenged us all in many different ways and as it continued there were a few stop/start periods which we now understand were necessary but terribly scary at times especially for many small businesses and their families. Fortunately, we learnt many lessons during the pandemic and many systems and procedures were adopted and introduced to both improve safety and cope with the new challenges.
We now have much greater awareness and appreciation of some simple things in life including good health and basic freedoms. We were all reminded of just how lucky we were to attend a public event, a football game, to travel interstate or overseas and to simply go out and enjoy a good meal at a local restaurant. We all took some of these very simple things for granted.
The Pandemic remained but things started improving…
Fortunately, confidence slowly improved and we noticed things really started to get busy again in March 2021 when, Adelaide Podiatrist, Will Duncan, joined the Posture Podiatry team.
Will’s been an absolute pleasure to work with and we feel lucky to have him as part of our work family.
As time progressed we found ourselves outgrowing our old premises at North Terrace, Kent Town. We knew we needed a plan for better parking and more consulting space and so the search for new premises began. The Hackney premises were secured in June 2021 and refurbished over the next 10 months. We finally relocated on Anzac Day long weekend in 2022 and have now been in our new pemises for well over 12 months.
Adelaide Podiatrist, Tessa Coleman, joined our team in January this year and has so far proven to be a great fit at Posture Podiatry. With Tess Clisby returning in August, we’ll now have a team of five podiatrists all working together to keep our clients mobile and moving better.
It’s been an interesting, exciting and somewhat uncertain journey so far and we hope it continues for many years to come. We know it would never have been possible without all the continued support from our clients and referrers.
Please accept our sincerest gratitude when we say Thank You for all your support from all the team at Posture Podiatry. Here’s to another four years and beyond!
